All our main courses come with a medley of seasonal vegetables including mashed swede, green beans, carrots, pickled red cabbage and broccoli & cauliflower cheese accompanied by a homemade Yorkshire pudding and golden roasted potatoes and our infamous red wine infused homemade gravy! Our meat, all locally sourced from Sussex farms, is presented on a bed of our creamy mashed potato… Pork (loin) & Crackling [Clayfield Farm, Fontwell], Lamb (leg) [Tottington Manor Farm, Edburton], Beef (topside) [Pakyn’s Farm, Hurstpierpoint], Chicken Supreme [free range], Cherubs Nutroast. Medium sized and kids portions are available.

img_56271For dessert this week, our always popular homemade Bakewell Tartor our homemade classic Sussex Pond Pudding, a traditional suet pudding with a gooey lemony centre or Chocolate & Brandy Profiteroles with chocolate sauce! If you don’t have a sweet tooth, try our now infamous Cheeseboard with a selection fine British cheeses served with biscuits, chutneys, grapes and celery.
